Authors who publish with this journal agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Retention — Authors retain copyright of their work and grant the journal right of first publication, with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) for any purpose, even commercially, as long as appropriate credit is given to the original author(s) and source, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated.
  2. Non-Exclusive Distribution — Authors are permitted and encouraged to post their published work online (e.g., in institutional repositories, personal websites, or academic networking sites such as ResearchGate or Academia.edu) both prior to and during the submission process, as well as after publication, provided that the published version in Smile: Science and Mathematics Learning Media is properly cited (author, title, journal name, volume, issue, and DOI/URL). This is encouraged as it can lead to productive exchanges and earlier, greater citation of the published work.
  3. No Article Processing Charge Refunds Related to Copyright — Copyright terms apply regardless of whether the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC); any applicable fee policy is stated separately on the journal's APC page.

  6. Open Access Statement — This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
